I'd still be a lot more comfortable if it just SAID that she was not 5 years younger. You don't even have to draw her any different. It's not the story it's going to have flash backs of them meeting each other in the past that only the girl remembers which is why she is secretly in love with him, scenes of which would make their age gap much more apparent.
No, this is a manga, where any young girl past puberty basically looks the same age, and young women will often act childish around boys they like anyway, so I'm going to continue reading and pretend that she's actually 16 and that was a typo. Let's see if i can gaslight myself into feeling the same way about this manga as I did when I thought that they were both in high school and that him calling her "that child" was just a weird translation thing.
