Whatya gonna do? Dig it up? It's there to stay whether you like it or not. You don't adopt them, they adopt you.The Japanese have got to STOP trying to keep superghosts as generational family pets. So many of their issues can be solved with this one simple lifehack.
You could start by not slicing the mfer up like you're playing Revengeance, and burying the bits in your backyard after...Whatya gonna do? Dig it up? It's there to stay whether you like it or not. You don't adopt them, they adopt you.
The cover artist is indeed the mangaka of Mieruko-chan (Izumi Tomoki) but sadly he doesn't have any story featured in this anthology. Would be awesome if he did one someday though!M...maybe he just took the remains to a temple to have them given proper rites?
The volume cover made me think this was a new chapter of Mieruko-chan (Izumi-sensei's art-style is so distinctive and the girl looks like a legally distinct Miko-chan and even has her trademark golden eyes and a Lambda Rabbit keychain on the bag).
Anyway, thanks for the TL.
Makes more sense than trying to keep a small child happy with booze and women lol."I dug it up under the stone...so now it follows me around. Remember when my grandpa said it's hungry? Why else do you think I've been inviting people out to eat..he wants to see the new restaurants or else it curses me!"
"Can't you try cooking?"
".....I'm a terrible cook"
I mean his ancestors trapped it in the first place i can imagine it being still resentful even if it was freed vs “killing rampage on the blood line besides you”I get being angry at all that, but it kinda is bad manners to haunt the guy that freed you.
