I'm glad to have been able to finish but I started to feel let down right around the start of the flashback battle that went on for about 2 volumes. It didn't feel like it lead to anything significant that couldn't be explained in a few chapters. Also the sole survivor who went along with Amegumo didn't become important. Speaking of Amegumo ended up doing nothing. I also would've loved one more volume to see the events of what happened in Kansai that was explained to Koizumi's descendant.
I feel like the series lost its potential along the way, but considering the health issues of the mangaka it makes sense.
