The science about typhoons is sound, whilst there are no reports of sharks having actually been sucked up by a typhoon or tornado fish, crustaceans, and frogs have, and if the typhoon were supernatural then this could definitely happen. Those sharks would definitely freeze at that altitude and with those winds and Momo and Jin have exhibited their chi powers before. The presence of the Family means bringing back the Mongolian death worm isn’t farfetched, and worms can lose 70% of their 85% water body-mass before dying so dehydrating and rehydrating it is not too out of left field.

Forced? For this comic? No. And random? Definitely not. Nobody is pulling anything completely out of their ass like a previously unknown power or decelopment. I mean other than the typhoon, but that’s supernatural.
