The kids might have got as much money from the assassin's bounty as the noble was willing to pay to get the job done. It was a guild assassin, after all, so the chance to crack him and find more assassins is valuable indeed.

Kind of a disappointing end - it was just too blatant with the introduction of two new characters out of no where, in its attempts to cock tease us into reading the Novels.

The arts nice and it's that really weird kind of cute, where you're kind of concerned for the MCs sanity.
