Ageha not being there shouldn't be a surprise, wasn't she sealed somewhere around in current timeline?

Kanaria, tsundare obviously but her being a top rank and someone of his level saving her hurt her pride too so her reaction is somewhat understandable...

Think Kiska should have explain the time travel deal, I'm sure it would be hard to understand but they think he is "just a guide" and someone who needs constantly being protected. Kiska already shown he can stand his ground before entering the dungeon.

Thanks for the scanlation, hope you had a pleasant time or at least a tan.

Why is the trope of sharing personal failures with strangers so common in manga? Why would I reveal such a personal history, even superficially, to a random person? Who convinced writers that this is normal behavior for men?
What else? For drama. It’s not uncommon nowadays for people in dangerous jobs to share some personal details, though it’s usually done more naturally over time.
In both cases, it eases tensions before and after heightened moments, shows that people around you have their own and similar internal struggles, and builds a sense of camaraderie that could save or break the team.

As someone that interacts face-to-face with the public on a near daily basis, I'm telling you that people, men included, absolutely share their problems in the first meeting when they feel comfortable. Carrying burdens is hard and building a connection feels great, especially when you're allowed to be vulnerable.

It's okay I am really thankful for the chapter upload, what I am worried is that mangadex is receiving some hefty damage from outside as they are forced to take down the chapters to a lot of series... and I hope we don't get to see that in here...
even if mangadex will go down, we're still going to do our uploads... just not on mangadex obviously :02:

Yeah I can't imagine why he might feel like he can open up to one of the few people who hasn't treated him like a sack of crap. Should'a just kept his damn mouth shut, ammirite? /s

The trope didn't develop out of thin air. It does happen, and for a reason. You might want to think about why that is.

I get what you're saying, but clarifying why you were exiled as a criminal would actually be beneficial for group cohesion. You'd want to know why your guide has extensive knowledge of a dangerous path only criminals use, right? At the very least, you wouldn't want that unknown factor hanging over the party's head the entire time.

Vaguely remembering the future of this arc makes me wish I could remember if her past is ever actually elaborated on in depth.

"Were they always this weak? must be the sword."
No. you just LEVELED UP so much that they feel weak .

well she is just looking out for him and yes. there ARE people who will tell you WHY they were punished just to ensure that they understand.. instead for judging them all the time.

Some people tell you their life story for the last few years at checkout
Ok.. This is funny :ROFLMAO:
Maybe to gain some sympathy we just hate to be misapprehend
I understand.
I get why some people are confused on why Kiska would even talk about his problems but at least from a budding story writer, I can see some logic in it. As it is used more to develop the characters around the world rather than a logic standpoint. Not to say all series do it as so, but in this case they wanted Kanaria to not seem like the cold and harsh brute we first saw while possibly expanding on her own reason as to why she's there too.
MC definitely lacks self-esteem. Can't blame him much, but considering what he's been through, especially death, even a gummy bear would become a rock.

I agree, but in my opinion, it should be with people you trust. Honestly, I don't trust this Hero party, nor should the MC, given what he's been through. The village betraying him, the sword, the two girls... I think he needs to be more cautious around others and not let his guard down.

I believe this Hero party is somewhat responsible for what happened in the dungeon.

I understand your point, but see my answer above.
