It's been there from the beginning though?I don't really like the inclusion of the emotion-erasing skill. Though, I can't deny that it adds to the mystery of the story.
a love forced by the [World], well at least it would even make sense why the "douche" knight wanted to help them evade "destiny", as this trial is part ofHonestly, I don't see the romantic chemistry between him and Lastiara.
Yeah it's the usual "boy and girl are friends so therefore they must become lovers" bsHonestly, I don't see the romantic chemistry between him and Lastiara.
Understatement of the century.Normally, if I was told that I'd disappear, I would resist a little
I mean that's the point he was trying to make her realize that reaction is not normal and a very obvious part of her indoctrination. I know people don't like the fact the romance between the two seems a little forced/happening to quickly, but I personally don't think so. Given the extreme situation the 2 were placed in, romantic feelings is not really that much of a leap. They do develop in those situations in real life too. At the very least you have to appreciate how hesitant and doubtful he is of everything around him. Also finding out that founding here that even his skill maybe affecting his emotions of her. When he found out he didn't go generic protagonist and forget/drop everything he was doing just to save her. Like there is a legit risk to himself and his goals should he have tried but he's not heartless hence his genuine struggle at what to do. Love may become a part of it if he does ultimately decide to save her but it won't only be that, because he's a good person at the end of the day and he can't just pretend/ignore what is happening in front of him.Understatement of the century.
And I never claimed otherwise? It's been there from the beginning though?
