Well, they do have similar aesthetics but if she knows him and not 'eaten' yet maybe there's a reason

I mean, he's just a counselor for a university, not like, his own private practice or so. (but the first girl was pretty mentally unstable so idk if he'd be blamed for that versus the ppl collapsing directly in his office)
But idk what happened to the corpses after they get 'eaten' b/c that one girl he saw when he was younger, Demon boy blamed it on some older neighbor, but idk if the others were disposed of or the autopsy comes out as some 'heart attack' or so (after all he sucks the souls out through a kiss and such versus like fully stabbing them or something)
