The sequel really lost the appeal of the first part of the manga... no effort on backgrounds or the gags or some new worldbuilding, the author now is just rushing things through and repeating the same overused jokes. Even the fanservice parts which are the main point got reduced. Synecdoche is either overworked or run out of steam for this series (I hope he can find something else he has more passion for if that's the case).

after checking the... uh... other recent work by the author i can safely asume elf butt fatigue is not the problem here. I think just coming up with non-erotic scenarios for this series has really become a chore at this point, and the lack of ecchi fanservice doesn't help at all.
