I'm obsessed with page 9. The way it gradually reveals more of Onee-sama, how the art changes from minimalist and abstract to detailed and realistic yet at the same time becomes more idealized as Onee-sama changes from human to the embodiment of roses. The way the narration boxes start narrow (really annoying to typeset btw but thankfully I found skinny words) and widen as Kasumi gets more glimpses of Onee-sama behind the letters. Yet at the same time this could be seen as Kasumi's own interpretation imposing on the space occupied by the real Onee-sama, what Kasumi is afraid Onee-sama might be doing to her.

Also the rest of the chapter is pretty good too I guess. That's the last time I'll have to infodump in the credits for a while but I always like giving slightly more cultural context.

10/10 work with this one, and by "this one" I mean the series as a whole.

And I know I'm not everyone who will be reading this title, but I absolutely adore and enjoy the contextual info dumping;
so if you ever feel compelled to do so again--whether "required" or not--know that at least one person will be happily reading your words left in the digital pages of this book called the Internet.

Probably the most interesting new yuri manga that has popped up in a while. Or, well, I suppose how it progresses in the next chapter or two will show what direction it's really taking-- still has a chance of self-destructing. Here's to hoping it stays good! :win:

Yeah it's a great composition. The roundness of the last panel transitions the set from rigid to organic. Leaving the page off on a "natural" note. Same way their set up is moving from dignified pen pal to "bear with me here I got something for you!"
