I feel like I'd have not so much kissed her in that moment in Ema's shoes, so much as I would have just walked out of my own apartment without a word and left my phone behind.Wow. I know Ayame's desperate to find love and happiness, but the way she immediately jumped to "Yeah we'll definitely discuss marriage as soon as we start dating" even after being dumped so many times is just ... wow. And then she follows up with the "I think my life with you might be coming to an end". GIRL YOU MET HIM A FEW HOURS AGO
Anyways shout out Ema for being the strongest lesbian in the world because that would have been my last straw
i feel like everything Ayame said was trying to gauge Ema’s reaction or try to bait her into acting. Previous chapters show she might have just started considering Ema as an option but doesnt know if the feeling is mutual.Wow. I have to agree! It seemed like she was talking really quickly about this, not in the same way she had talked about the topic in the past. Either she was trying to bait her or Ayame herself is feeling very unsure about iti feel like everything Ayame said was trying to gauge Ema’s reaction or try to bait her into acting. Ayame almost felt manic in that moment. And I mean in the clinical, DSM 5 diagnosis way.I have to agree! I really hope you're right. Imo baiting is still pretty shitty but I guess that's better than everything Ayame said being her genuine naive thoughtsi feel like everything Ayame said was trying to gauge Ema’s reaction or try to bait her into acting. You have christening bottle of champagne on deck for new ship? How are we not drinking buddy yet?Ayame almost felt manic in that moment. And I mean in the clinical, DSM 5 diagnosis way.
I'd almost call it a cry for help to Ema. I'm trying real hard to hide the christening bottle in my hand for this ship and be objective about it, but
That went so over the top so fast there, that it felt like Ayame was panicking and just saying whatever seemed like it would push Ema over the line to stop her. Also because I kinda hope that Ayame isn't so dense that she'd seriously say those things, in that order, to someone she considers such a good friend that she'd willingly crash at her place for days on end like that and not consider how shitty it would be to hear.
And if she's realizing she actually likes Ema, it's her strange, "I'm at the end of my rope, please catch me" means of hoping Ema will respond and reach out to her.
So that's my official theory as of right this second after thinking it through whilst typing this out.
