It's pretty good I think. Because of his warped love Bifrons is supplying her mana. He won't cut it off because he is obsessed with her & it's his only way to feel ANY connection with her though he yearns to see her but never be able to again. It's likely to drive him insane to the point he mill off himself but then at that point Zagan will find her another way to live. Like he could make an artificial mana organ but time will tell.

Ha. I've been trying to quit FGO unsuccessfully for years now. I've quit Girl's Frontline, Blue Archive, Arknights, KonoSuba, DanMachi, Counter:Side, that slow life village creating game, Genshin, Tower of Fantasy, WuWa, Honkai 3rd and slowly starting to quit Honkai Star Rail....

But the two games, that no matter how burnt out or bored I get of them...I just can't bring myself to quit are FGO and Azur Lane. I might miss a few days, not partake in an event or two...but I'm never gone for long.

I kinda wished Zagan would just seal Bifrons away for good, and force him to continue supplying mana to Nephteros anyway. But this is ok too I guess.

Having him supply mana can be seen in a twisted way as a connection and Bifrons is twisted enough to go there, thus deluluing him into thinking he's not isolated. This is the proper way. Absolutely can't escape the reality now.

Normally I really would have wanted Zagan to just kill the bastard, but I suppose suffering in solitude is fine too.

Zagan should have made it that the bitch would die if he tried to get close to anyone, not just Nephteros.

Though I would have liked it if Zagan had inflicted ALOT more physical pain onto him.

Bifrons is free to try his hardest to form connections with other people none will be as important as Nepth knowing shes alive and out there and hes unable to torment her will eat at him more and more.

Nah. Not enough suffering. Sure, in the shortish term its suffering, but as its said, time heals all [emotional] wounds.
Even if you take someone beloved away, for example some loving parents, yes it will hurt, yes you will think of them, but in time, their loss will become a bearable memory. And if it happened long enough ago, even thinking about them will happen less often.

And like others have said, since its not real love and more just obsession, its possible for him to just get another obsession. If that happened he'd probably only think of nephteros when new obsession does something that reminds him of her.

time does not heal all wounds in fact wounds scar.
That's like replacing a beloved pet with an identical pet. it will never be the same as the first pet and trying to make it more like the first pet only makes it worse.

Woah, so this is what it feels like having a "witch"/"wizard" as a protagonist that curses someone. Zagan dope af for doing that.

The usual narative would be the main antagonist doing the cursing or the mc just lives on trying to break the curse, so seeing this twist of POV is quite refreshing. still missing Nephy tho
