Oh great! Another female antagonist with nothing but pride, grudge, looks and close to zero brain. I can understand their motivation to surpass their current unstable rank, but if all of that is a plot by their shared father to dispose of his illegitimate children, why did he send the true crown prince too? And why does the entourage consist solely of supporters of the shameless brother-sister pair? Makes no sense imo
You're forgetting that it's a diplomatic meeting with the princes of each nation as representatives. Officially, the bastards are just along for the ride. The other purpose is to rid of the bastards and their entourage. Subordinates not loyal to the legitimate heir will cause trouble later on, and well, they're disrespecting the prince. If any of the bastards or their entourage create a scandal, then they have an excuse to get rid of them.

The bastard sister doesn't seem to have zero brain though. She knows what she's doing. The bastard siblings are somewhat aware of what's about to happen to them, so they're scheming against it the only way they can do so.

Because he wants to dispose of all three of them, and start over with a new one, whom he'll probably be disappointed with and eventually destroy too. This is what aristocrats are like.

I think it's implied by the TL: note, and while I can understand why others might, but I don't get incestuous vibes from the siblings. Love, sure, but it seems more like codependence. With the way they were raised and given how the Grandfather, despite knowing the kids are innocent of their parents sins, still treats them as something to be disposed of, they give off a "the only person I can rely on is my sister/brother and everyone else is a pawn to be used." vibe rather than an incestuous one to me

The Crown Prince had to come because he whole (public) purpose of this visit is a diplomatic meeting between Crown Princes.
The current King doesn’t want to get rid of the Crown Prince, he needed to send him because that’s the reason for the visit, and so the Twins and the entourage can be seen publicly disrespecting the Crown Prince in front of another nation to have the unassailable reason to eliminate the Twins from the line of succession and remove the members of the entourage from high society (as such members are also likely to be nobles themselves).

Blah blah blah, they're all rich parasites who should go up against the wall as soon as possible.

For someone who's supposed to be the scheming and plotting type she sure doesn't look that bright.

Calling men pigs then proceed on seducing them? So she's into pigs, sure a bit nasty but go on it's medieval era.

Confused on why the boob-rubbing tactic didn't work? If you could just spend idk 5 seconds at Serena you'll probably know why.

it's because it's not their father doing this. The current king of their country is their grandfather, the father of these three is a shit idiot who cheated on his lawful wife who he had the crown prince with, The twins then are bastards their father had with a woman who just was not high rank enough to get to be queen. So the grandfather the current king disowned his son, and made his grandson crown prince.

The father who is now worth nothing but his bastards has then spent the entire time they were growing up convincing them they were meant for the throne and that it's somehow an injustice they're not considered legitimate heirs. The reason why the entourage is full of their supporters is because the grandfather the king wants to cut not only the bastards off but also their entire support structure.

I like how Aisha is outwardly like a Rosemary v.2, but she has some unique traits that make it feel fresh. Where Rosemary was an aggrieved commoner, she was terrible at hiding her motives. Aisha the aggrieved noble is much better at scheming and uses her tacky behavior as a distraction. I also feel like Aisha has a better claim to be aggrieved.

That said, she's still playing with fire. I wonder if instead of crashing out like Rosemary, she'll read the room and change tactics? If they learn to stop acting like trash, they won't end up in the landfill.

It would also be nice if Serena finds a peaceful solution this time. Would give her some character growth and make the plot less predictable. It feels weird to say it after I was such an advocate for having her merc Rosemary/The Crappy Prince way sooner than she did. I think I'm feeling that Aisha has a chance to change while Rosemary did not.
While it be nice if Serena would find a peaceful situation it's probably not going to happen. Aisha said she wanted to get rid of Serena and that doesn't end well for those who try to do that. Aisha on the otherhand who seems to be better at the rosemary tactics then rosemary doesn't seem to look at her position. She doesn't seem to understand why she got sent there based on the Kings position. So she doesn't understand Serena side's mission. Hell she didn't even consider Serena family. Their country might get screwed because of their action.

They're both smart and ambitious.. And the way the actual Crown Prince is acting, they either got their hooks in him already, or the boy is simply not cut of the cloth needed to Rule. Which is a Problem in and of itself...

Part of the blame for this mess lies in the *in*action of the King of Rienburg.
Ordinarily, illigitimates like this would be fostered out to trusted (branch) families to ensure the parent's stupidity at least wouldn't infect them, and the kid(s) would at least have a chance to prove themselves growing up.
You don't waste resources like that, and Ambition, in its right place, can be an asset...

The way it was handled, however, was atrocious. With this hot mess as a result..
And yes... they're trying to make something of their lives... But they could also have opted to support the Crown Prince, and lift him up to the level needed to Rule.
Instead they opted for Surefire Destruction, because no-one would allow the little usurpation/marriage scheme they're planning.

And the little remark our FL's father made regarding a more ..practical.. approach regarding any succession indicates Options C and D are already being considered...

Considering how much they changed Einrich from the novel, I really wonder if they'll do the same with the twins.

Rienburg’s king probably also think Shagard need to go out there.
Hopefully meeting another crown prince can give him a role model about how he should be respected by people around him.

At this point, I’d say Shagard’s grandpa had an idea of what is happening. He might even put bodyguards to secretly hold back assassins Shagard can’t handle on his own (hence he’s still alive). But he is still the crown prince, one day he will be king and have to take decisions on his own.
Right now, Shagard couldn’t even ask for help (self-esteem issue).

If any of the bastards or their entourage create a scandal, then they have an excuse to get rid of them.
And further lower their value to the eyes of the political rivals.
What’s brought up as reason why the children are kept in the palace is to make sure political rivals (who might want to install them as puppet kings) can’t get too close. There will be factions trying to downplay their actions. But this is entirely internal affairs.
When foreign countries came into play, the odds are with the king to put the kids as a liability too dangerous to side with because they’re “in the wrong”. Hopefully, the rivals would be smart enough to choose cutting their loss there.

Calling men pigs then proceed on seducing them? So she's into pigs, sure a bit nasty but go on its medieval era.
Well, she sees them as pigs with just selfish desire. While both are selfish, I think it’s easier for girls to see men’s sexual desire as “filthy” while she sees her seduction as means to get her (not physical) purposes.
No need to feel bad, because it just means she’s better at playing them and not like they have noble intention when they approach her anyway. So it’s like exploit or be exploited mentality.
