I don't get why they're pissed off that she got cursed instead of the loved child.. you'd think they'd make snarky comments about how "at least you where useful for once!".

And I didn't see anything curse-like until after she was exiled.. how did they know she was cursed? Did they know enough about it to do things like cure it if it had been the loved sister?
