I am curious about Diana's/Sanya's loss of power. How does that even happen, considering these are supposed to be gifts from the gods? I'm hoping this does get addressed during this arc.

right the country doesn’t deserve her, they want her tied but how the prince treated her was horrible and no one addressed it, the royal family should have humbled him, like surely a saintess should have importance way higher than a prince, that could be replaced by breeding.
