Just 15+?
Wanna know how many times I see the tsundere trope if I read 100 stories? 130 times.
A OP protag? 50 times.
A useless protag? 50 times.
A dense protag? 95 times.
Yandere......isn't really as common as people think (depending on genre) so about 30-40 times.

So that 15 is a breath of fresh air, at least to me.
Can you give names for Yandere manga?

I don't understand some of you people that dislike harem... why even read this manga in the first place then??
This manga had the HAREM tag since its first chapter.
We are 5 chapters in and you surprised that a new waifu gets introduced and it became a harem????
''Oh my god I dislike harem manga! proceeds to read a harem manga Oh my god why did this become a harem!?''

Anyway... Its refreshing to have a MC like this. Hes blunt and clear that he absolutely dislikes Rua and doesn't get flustered (though I can 'blame' that because how hes been basically groomed to be the perfect husband for Rua and killing off his emotions to some point) around his harem the girls.

Also him picking up Hiiragi in an princess carry and nonchantly telling her off was smooth as hell.

What other childhood friend abuse story is that? Seems like something that i might enjoy with more brain muscles than this one, which is still entertaining mind you, in a junkfood way, not to forget the pretty art.
If it's
"I'm Sick and Tired of My Childhood Friend's, Now Girlfriend's, Constant Abuse, So I Broke Up With Her"

Then it has its own litany of problems that make it kind of a trash series at present. The "Childhood Friend" bit might be someone more grounded than this, but the premise of this is outlandish already and the ML literally has superpower-level abilities at his disposal (he's termed "S-Rank" in the literal title, for crying out loud)--and that other series suffers from multiple problematic characters who have yet to see ramifications for their behavior (and each chapter gets dragged out like nobody's business with panel after panel of internal monologue like it's going for a page-count record).

Oh that one. I think I lost interest or dropped it. Either way I didn't add it to my library so I can't tell. I might have to give it a reread...
EDIT: OH yeah yeah the ex is giving me abuse PTSD, and I haven't even dated anyone yet 🤣

It might be a different story if you consider how her grandmother treats her husband, very toxic-like, and being the same sex as her, as opposed to her grandfather who, as a man, spoiling a female he loves is natural, and she could very well misinterpret MC's servitude towards her up to high school as his way of 'spoiling' her.

Daughter sees mother-figure degrading her father: "I see! So that treatment to someone you love is normal! I shall do the same to my crush!"

Monkey see, monkey do. A lot of parents don't realize how influential they can be to their own children.
perhaps, though why doesnt she treat her grandfather that way too if thats the case? I need more backstory on this nonsense.

the ex is somehow the part of it I have the least issue with.

Without getting into spoilers, the most recent arc (I guess?) makes it feel like the author went past the source material or something and doesn't know what story they want to tell. And the protagonist and support characters are kinda suffering because there's some clear "Bad Actors" causing problems, and are facing zero pushback or consequences even as their problematic behavior becomes known to others.

And it's taken what feels like a dozen chapters to reach a narrative point that should have taken maybe 4, because of the pacing of the dialogue and internal narration monologue compared to the number of pages per chapter, making it all feel super drawn out and kinda "hopeless" in terms of the problems facing the protagonist as he refuses to actually actively do something to address them.

Just very frustrating, but I'm basically just hate-reading it at this point, so it's my own fault I guess.

Ah I hate it when that happens. It usually doesn't end well... probably because I drop it if I notice the quality dropping, and then someone in the comments will mention the manga adaptation is veering from the light novel or something.

Brat girl who has no sense of awareness is no.1
Sorry bro, but don't mix the Pig with the rest of the girls, she isn't a part off that squad. You probably don't read the spoilers so i won't go into details, but it's pretty obvious in this 5 ch how much Kazu hates her.

Isn't that a bit contradictory? You say you have no intention of competing with the group that's already translating it, but at the same time you're planning to keep going as soon as new raws are out. Sounds like competition to me.

Also, I've always wanted to ask a sniper something—and since you mentioned you're only doing it because it's popular, here's my question: why not start from chapter 1?
Yeah but here is the thing, snipers get sniped, why not ask the same to Darling whenever they snipe a popular manga and not start from chapter 1, they did the same with this manga, they did the same with some others too

Honestly, I feel bad for Rua. Her parents clearly failed in their duty to raise her properly, and she's on the path to self-destruction at this point.

Yes, she acts really shitty, and that's her responsibility. However, it was her parents' job to make sure she didn't grow up to act that way in the first place, so it's also heavily their fault for either not caring to raise her properly, or spoiling her far too much and never disciplining her. It's such a shame.

if parents (and adults in general) behaved the "way they should" in most manga centered around school-age kids, the vast majority of plot lines and stories would never actually happen.

So much of what goes on in school manga would never actually occur if teachers were present and/or actually competent, or if parents were around to take part in their children's lives, or the faculty were present to keep the student council from operating like an autocratic dictatorship with complete immunity from consequences.

Rua is one victim of countless numbers of failed adolescent characters of mangaka everywhere.

Here’s a link:

https://mangadex.org/title/600f467c...ahara-ga-hidoin-de-zetsuen-sengen-shite-yatta

Its called “I'm Sick and Tired of My Childhood Friend's, Now Girlfriend's, Constant Abuse, so I Broke up With Her”

Its still got the OP MC character but lacks the harem and feels less like torture toxic childhood friend simulator.

Granted its not much better and Hanabi is still tortured quite often but MC atleast tries to experiment with his freedom from CF (Hanabi), makes friends, and the plot feels realistic.

Plus, it was the intial one to start this trend so I guess its technically more “original” than this story as well.

Ultimately, If this story is junkfood then “I’m Sick and Tired” is like an appetizer at a restaurant.

It’s not absolutely horrible like this story but drags on after a 5 to 10 chapters.

Get what you mean about the harem raging but tbh MC feels kinda hard to get behind because his situation feels like revenge Pron.

Like MC is mistreated by the popular girl.

But when he rejects her he learns hes actually a super human who is a blessed genius, handsome, strong hunk who was held back by her this entire time!

And whats this! That girl secretly loved him the whole time? And even though she could bully literally anyone else instead of him she bullied him because…? Shes spoiled and gets whatever she wants I guess…?

Oh and he just so happens to encounter these attractive girls right after this who will literally soak themselves being near him!

But of course he’s still the cool edgy loner of the class who goes against the popular girl as well even though he lacks any legal or rational authority to insult or go up against her.

But hey it works out even though she apparently controls the entire media and government and could easily force the guy back to her and he doesn’t really have any legal authority to leave her in the first place.

The entire thing feels like some fucked up incel power fantasy cause MC has done NOTHING to deserve what he’s gotten done.

Even him denouncing Rua feels kinda shitty because what was keeping him there in the first place?

He clearly didn’t like Rua, He doesn’t seem to live with Rua or her grandparents (otherwise he wouldn’t be able to leave Rua in the first place), and he doesn’t even have any problems doing anything or need them cause he’s a gary stu who can get everything he wants for free.

He’s also in the wrong for not even talking to anyone I mean ANYONE about his circumstances and how he disliked rua’s behavior.

Like was he expecting things to just get better just because he believed in her or something?

Cause he’s no better than the grandfather by enabling her arrogant attitude and then shaming her for doing things to him he never complained about before this!

TLDR: MC doesn’t have a right to call Rua out because he doesn’t even tell her that her behavior is wrong or that it makes him uncomfortable. (Doesn’t even tell her grandparents about this either)

Then blames her for keeping the status quo because she’s learned that he’s fine with her treating him that way when she doesn’t know a relationship beyond this cause no one ever brought it up to her before.
