That's not recent. There are old manga that go on for hundreds of chapters with a whole lot of nothing then they only bother getting the couple together when readership goes down such as that one base ball one, the one with an alien, etc. That's if they even get together at all. If there's a love triangle it's almost guaranteed to go nowhere.
