That’s what I mean though: they don’t actually know what “it” could be next time. The dragon is special and it would behoove the man who can accommodate everything possible to take caution before sending Cyril away, especially since the dragon is a newborn technically. If Cyril stayed around for legit ONE extra day, they could hear from the dragon’s mouth how it feels about the location; if it’s still afraid of the guards; what it prefers for foods; what kind of personality it has etc.
