aight so something is getting foreshadowed... my humble prediction is its because she doesn't do fox spirit stuff to steal folks life force essence or smth like that, so a kiss or smth will fix it. Cus I am pretty sure this romance manga has fairly few romance so far so this might be used to finally get some romance into the mix
