No, the relationship isn't forced.

Banri said "he must've gone through my phone" or something like that, to find out they're not related, so they were already going out when the BF found the secret.


Still, pretty stupid of the BF to think he actually had any leverage, and pretty stupid of Banri to think the same, I get she just didn't want the media to harass the brothers and sisters when they're already worried with other things but still.

Just friendly reminder to everyone here that Banri is that type of girl who "supposedly" loves Kyo but also she confessed her feelings to Arata under waterfall. Even though Arata didn't hear that, we know. She's unfaithful and disloyal. She's not winning in the end. Ouka will win. Arata should just continue looking at Banri as she's his sister.

You're calling her "unfaithful and disloyal"... to the guy that's been abusing and blackmailing her??? What's wrong with you? A boy like that doesn't deserve "loyalty". He deserves to swallow his own teeth.

I don't even see a point where she claims to have loved him sincerely. She called them "lovers". That just means you're intimately involved. Not necessarily that you're in love with them. And even if she had said that, women in abusive relationships often just say that because they feel they have to.

I mean that she's unfaithful and disloyal to Arata since she claims to love him, but Arata didn't hear it, but she has a boyfriend that she has been intimate with. That is literally character assassination from her. She's has been intimate with abuser and child-kicker and yet you think that Banri deserve to be Arata? (Since that is premise of this series). Arata is chad MC and hopefully he stays that way. Banri won't be with Arata and Arata will continue looking at her as sister even if she loves him.. Arata deserves someone equal to him.. that is Ouka or maybe Minami.
Also for your information, Banri has been falling of, she was near Ouka in Top 10 and now she's below Top 10. There have been charts, though.
