I think everyone is forgetting she got dropped into Abandoned really easily in Ch1 to achieve some "mission" by a mysterious stranger, supposedly to set into motion reviving the Demon Kord. I don't think there's any time slippage, I think someone or something imprisoned the Hero there a thousand years ago and has spent the next thousand years discrediting the usefulness of physical weapons for some purpose. I think the dwarfs got dropped into Abandon too for related reasons. Bombu probably dodged it by being an eccentric dwarf who went and impregnated an elf.

It's probably a huge conspiracy to make the Demon King's conquest even easier following its revival.

I get that it seems like time slippage because Harold's alive after a thousand years, but don't forget the dude was imprisoned in an area with cursed ore that saps lifespan by touch without any food for who knows exactly how long. Obviously being a Hero in this world has some effect on vitality. It's possible he's not even completely human either considering he had flowers and grass growing around him in an otherwise dead valley.

Everybody's arguing about chronology and dimensional whatchamacallits, I just want to draw attention to these dwarves' helmets. They look ridiculous, like they're space aliens from a cheesy comedy.

How has she not realized she's in the past? Wasn't there a statue of the hero Harold in the town square or something?

Time might not flow the same in Abandoned like in the normal world.

So, how does a dwarf smell? I thought they would smell of dirt and alcohol, but i've never seen our girl drinking

Apparently you smell it through the armpits so there is something about their sweat. Maybe they process alcohol differently and it gets in there. Could also happen with any fermenting food.
