I can't claim I'd fully understand the last pages. Akira fell unconscious and had a dream about things that are yet to come? Or that happened in the past? Or maybe it was purely symbolic.
I still think it's silly the author had to come up with a nonsense excuse for Akira not being able to summon elixir, just so that severely wounded people can't be automatically saved, no problem.

I don't get why people are still harping on why he can't use elixirs anymore and calling it a silly excuse.
If he was still able to use elixirs people will just comment on how broken Elixirs are. It's so broken that any sense of urgency will just be thrown out the window.
The reason for why he isn't able to use elixirs anymore is because of how his magic isn't really the same ever since he first overwhelmed himself in his childhood and his maid needed to seal his magic. The way he unsealed it wasn't really undone by his maid and was just forcefully undone.
Drawing up summons does not equal Item summoning. One is just done anywhere, and the other requires a magic paper which burns whenever he draws on one.

Not really explained, in chapter 24 page 16, he tries to draw one but the scroll ends up burning before it's fully summoned.
Also, in the next chapter Akira thinks it might be caused by the change in his mana.

Haa... The problem is that the author first gave him the ability to make him get stronger quickly, but then at some point realised it's too broken as an ability and took it away. That sort of lousy writing happens in manga all the time, so it's not anything new. Apparently the universe in this story doesn't bend to the kind of continuous power scales that allows many an author to get away with giving the MC all kinds of powers, as the inflation will soon render them nothing extraordinary. But here the elixir Akira started with would still be 100 chapters later overpowered. In another series it might already be insufficient and thus not a problem writing wise.
Can you actually imagine that if you had such an über convenient power, you'd just shrug your shoulders and forget all about it if you encountered a rather mundane looking problem in using it? Ever since Akira lost it, he has made exactly and precisely zero effort to look into it and try to figure out how to be able to continue summoning elixirs. Why? Because it is a silly excuse from the author to get rid of the power and thus it's naturally unthinkable Akira would try to get around it. The main character can't exactly go against the authors wishes.

The main thing about elixirs to me is that Medisfina made sure to flash back about them at the start of the arc, so it's just super surprising to me that they ended up not showing up at all. It almost feels like a case of chekhov's gun not getting fired, although there's obviously points for it later on in the series, bringing it up at the start of an arc and then doing nothing with it just seems a bit odd.
