Nice to see this again. Although the anime adaptation was a slideshow at times (not like anyone expected it to have the most amazing animations of all time), it was still very fan service heavy to make up for it. Thanks for the translations.

I was just gonna say but is only (1?2?) years old but no, started in 2021, wew time sure flew, it kinda sucks though, because it doesn't feel like we got an actual good romance all along, some nice chapters but I feel that Hinata is too passive most of the times, we got some nice moments but to me up until now the romance never really started.

I am quite disappointed with this series.

Yeah, I checked the latest raws to see how this series is doing after this chapter was uploaded and turns out next chapter will be the last one. I don't remember much about the series beyond the mom introduction, but I'm inclined to agree with you about the romance part.

Imaizumi is the goat, I wish half the romcoms had the chemistry that guy has with the girls.

Anyway, I re-read chapter 13 to 23 and found myself disappointed, it seems the only time we see Hinata take the initiative and do something nice that isn't just a gesture you would or could do with a friend (like cooking) is in chapter 17 when he gives her that hairpin BUT EVEN is just a flashback.
Bell has to initiate everything, it feels like Hinata barely has a strong reaction in kind to her and is very meek or friendly rather than loving.

If you wanted to see the couple have lewd moments like in the hentai then you lose and you just get a lot of random panty and boob shot, but to me these are without rhyme or reason and thus I don't find them appealing.

The way they introduce new characters feels like the author was bored and already out of ideas. The more I think about it, the more I am disappointed.
