I actually was assuming she was going to kill and steal the identity of the mangaka, which would have been interesting, some kind of Chainsaw Man-type "person who is devoid of human morality learns to be human, kills many in the process" sort of story.

maybe to show her superior body disposing skills next chapter? or she at least has connections / knowledge so she knows how to avoid common assassin tricks.

story didn't say she was the strongest assassin so organization should obviously send killers stronger than her to kill her (or else they'd just get killed by her instead), so her needing to be saved makes sense.
