I don't dislike contrived plots if the end result is entertaining, but the amount of contrivances in this manga is not paid off by the end result.
Sure, make her lose her clothes because of the way she was sloppily dressed and the obi getting caught under him, I'm all for her falling on top of him and comically turning the TV on at a sex scene with the condom conveniently laid by their pillows. But don't chicken out!
If you're not going to commit till the end, at least get me some Gintama levels of comedic interruption, like someone barging into the room to play UNO, realizing they're almost having sex and demanding her to get dressed so they can play UNO instead, for example.
Or one of them slips from the bed and ends up breaking a bone in the landing, or there's a fire and they have to run naked, anything as contrived as the events that led them to being in that situation to begin with! Contrivances can work, but when you make the mundane interrupt the contrivances, it feels like a cop-out!
