I can never understand how certain manga get such high ratings. I usually use ratings to get an idea on how good of a read something would be. Ratings don't mean anything now because any generic slop can get a high one. How did this even make staff recommendations?
MC gets kicked from his family for no compelling reason other than being a man. He somehow managed all his 7 sisters' careers, which I find to be literally impossible. All his sisters are also idiots because they equate him doing his managerial work as him limiting their careers.
Him being kicked from his family had no effect on the has doesn't even get to struggle.
1st main heroin's family helps him get into a new school even paying his bills. Why? Simply because what happened to him was sad. The only redeeming thing about this is her, and it's because I have a soft spot for tsunderes.
Of course, there's an ice queen, because what manga does not need an ice queen. And of course, MC does the most normal thing and the ice queen instantly falls for him. I can already see where her story goes. She's probably shy or misunderstood and actually wants friends. In a school of hundreds of kids, the newcomer is the only normal person that was nice to her and made her talk.
Now let me guess his sister's career will start going downhill. His mother will be in denial, saying he is still not needed. Until she finally gives in and tries to get him back... bla bla bla...
No strong plot points or anything, just your usual self-insert MC with all the overused clichés. The art is nice. I'll give it that.
I've always loved reading romances, but now it's like all these Japanese romance authors share a single brain cell. The high rating is not warranted at all. It's a 5 or 6 at best.
