Everyone saying they’re dropping the manga to a 1 star or dropping it entirely clearly doesn’t read much manga.

It feels like everyone wants everything to wrap up so fast so anything other than that feels like it’s being drawn out or extended.

I think people forget that this originally started with dread and suffering. It wasn’t like it was happy from the jump. Everything has lead somewhere. I am going to continue reading but damn some of the comments on here make me genuinely laugh.

stupid writing decision.

For those who actually "dropped" this series because of this turn of events, is this your first experience reading a manga with this level of absurdity? Honestly, I'm curious, because this is really what you would expect from this kind of stories, from the first chapter they are telling you what this story is about and how it was going to turn out next, even the Messiah-chan one-shot was telling you where this trip was heading.

No news about Ao, but... Midori survived! Don't know how, she is very beat up but can still walk and move. Anway, Asagi finds her in the apartment, they get into a struggle, she even has a gun to his head but can't kill him. He then kisses her in the last panel

I mean if pigman can wake up from a coma, amnesia aside anythings possible i know there are irl stories of ppl surviving gunshot wounds

You got a point, but you saw how the crushing looked so brutal, right? No one believed she survived. And when you look at her now, yeah she's pretty beat up but she doesn't look like she was crushed like that. Maybe she explains it, we'll have to wait for the translation.

But anyway, this gives me hope (at least for now) that Ao is fine, and it was all a setup.

maybe butama held back or snapped out of it after the first hit and ran away, tho we don't know what caused him to hit her in the first place
