To make it clear to who could have doubts, yes, MC did throw the shoes in the pond, but only the shoes, he didn't steal the mirror, that was done by a classmate for next to no reason as MC didn't give problems, stayed mostly by himself and was usually with his childhood friend, that the class didn't knew, at most MC would have beena object of jealosy for being smarter and more athletic, but he didn't use that to push other down or get popular.
MC was lynched after the class got together, he fought back after the teacher came so he would have witnesses, he brutalized the kids in self defense, everything was planned, MC discovered a janitor was around after school and had witnessed a kid in class after school, that kid put the mirror in MC desk.
The school was in a terrible position for the handling of the incident, parents were furious for what happened to their kids and their shoes, but when told the cause they shut up and realized the problem was theirs.
The teachers were shocked from the event, as we know one left teaching for good, as she was only in training and failed massively, when the other decided to not repeat the mistake and become a good teacher, in my opinin both did the right choice, somehow glasses moved up to Highschool in MC school, doesn't treat him with favour or anything, but now is neutral and follows the students correctly.
The class was damaged without recovery, MC isolated himself from the others, reverse of how it would be in other cases with the students isolating a single one of them, the kids felt terribly, the desk neighbor tried to get close to MC again and was istantly stonewalled, in the novel she had even spit on him.
The kid that had stole the mirror transferred away, but stayed in the city, in fear of MC.
He was part of mini gang in the class, the ones that attacked MC in this chapter, they got isolated from the other kids too.
MC was able to win as he was already in his "trust only yourself" phase, and had trained for a long period of time already, much stronger than untrained elemntary childrens.
