Faye only just found out she didn’t kill the guy herself, and before she could even process her relief, she found out she unwittingly created the opportunity for his assassination. In the information overload, she‘s not thinking about Irene’s potential role in these events. And she’s certainly not going to hold something she never heard Irene say against her.

The original commenter questioned how Faye could forget what Irene did to her to trust her, and the comment you responded asked what it is that she supposedly “forgot” that she should hold against Irene. As far as I can recall, the only times Irene did anything bad to Faye in an open and direct manner was in response to the latter’s attempts to bully her. As the instigator, Faye has little grounds to hold Irene’s retaliations against her. Faye has no knowledge of Irene‘s schemes, nor has she been given a reason to suspect her.

It's cause Faye doesn't know what Irene has done. She doesn't realize that she was intentionally put in that position by Irene. But yes I also loathe this ship and hope Kelly saves her from Irene. Irene has gotten way too toxic and manipulative to be trusted now.

WE know that irene orchustrated it WE know irene has been manipulating her emotionally and in general is it out of love or something else we dont know we have am idea but not a complete basis faye basically knows none of this

At this stage I can’t really tell if the toxic yuri is meant to be some point the author is making (but what?) or is something they are trying to pass off as a genuine relationship arc like the main characters?

Like, Kelly’s comment about them implies seeing their interactions as wholesome, but if we give the author the benefit of the doubt about how toxic it is, then Kelly’s comment is layered with the foreboding and nuance we as readers only know.
