We don't have all the details but I can at least see why this guy would have to leave school even if he didn't do something super crazy. The other guy's mom could have just blown things out of proportion but injuring a guy on a sports team has the potential to be a big deal. Or it could all just be a dumb joke, I don't know, but more misunderstandings are going to get made and cleared up along the way.

...In all seriousness, that wasn't as bad as I assumed it would be. And it's cool that his friends cared enough to come ask him directly about it instead of distancing themselves because of rumors, then backed him up when they got the full story. And I am kind of proud of him. Though if Grandpa has to be the one to resolve this misunderstanding instead of him getting the hint I'm gonna be disappointed all over again.
