Are these pages and/or speech bubbles out of order, or is this action scene really just this confusing and hard to follow?

  • Page 6: dragon has its right arm
  • Page 7: the arm is suddenly missing
    • is this panel early? was there supposed to be some page between 6 and 7 where some attack cut off the arm?
  • Page 9: the dragon seems to be pained by the arm
    • dragon didn't notice the loss of an arm for 2 pages? Or is this supposed to be the page when the arm was lost, and page 7 should be after this?
  • Page 14: the dragon is missing an arm, but the characters say it is unharmed
  • Page 19: the dragon is missing both arms, one arm is shown doing some regenerating
  • Page 20: the dragon has both of arms at the beginning of that page
    • this dragon can regenerate so fast that the heroes can miss that it regenerated? and yet it took 13 pages for it to regenerate the first arm? Watching one arm grow back was so mesmerizing that not a single person noticed that the other arm was also regenerating?
    • Other than the text talking about regenerating, this page could have appeared between 6 and 7 and I wouldn't be able to tell

And apparently the dragon is weak to holy magic, but "thunder of divine retribution" did nothing to it?

Translator has nothing to do with this, but I find I really don't like the way the dragon's breath attack is depicted as solid black with no real contrast or depth to it. In Page 8 it looks like the breath isn't coming from the dragon's mouth, but is instead a shadow behind the dragon's extremely detailed head, so it looks just like dramatic lighting for an action shot. And then just the next panel has an odd shape... Oh, nope, the entire top-left of the panel is solid black except for a tiny white triangle because that's an overhead view of the breath and the panel is just big enough to see the full width of the breath. And then the last panel looks like someone accidentally goofed up and accidentally left a censor bar across the panel.
And then in page 9 we're back to dark black just being a shadow and not actually important.

The long trail of the sword attack on page 12 is more like what I would have expected for some sort of beam / breath attack.
