I admit I'm a bit mixed on this plot. On one hand, I know that Mia is the heroine and thus the story will revolve around her.

But I also root for the MC to be with the upperclassman he likes.

But this is one of the rare ones where I go ''Why is this even a harem'' other then for us readers to enjoy the waifus, because its clearly not going to have an harem ending.
Besides the obvious being that the whole premise of this manhwa is all about Mia.

I'll be mildly surprised if the MC ends up with the girl hes currently in love with.
I'll actually be surprised if this manhwa does the harem ending, but I highly doubt it.

I imagien thats part of the "charm" of her, as the losing heroine describes that shes "mysterious" but she just seem more erratic to me than anything else. Or maybe the first few chapter really were just to bait people in and this is the real her, idk.

Also kind of related. Anyone else tired of the love interest whos super popular? I feel like almost every romance manga i read has the fmc be some kind of athlete super smart beauty(and stundet council president half the time) whos a celebrity in school/uni, and its getting kinda tiresome

Obviously MC has some unresolved feelings for her and hes being a bit too herbivore about it but her constant hot and cold (sometimes literally moments apart) attitude feels annoying, it's not even in a cute Tsundere way it's straight up hostile.

I would be very surprised if the MC ends up with the older girl, I don't think like they ever win at all, if they're not the only LI it's pretty much over. And yeah, this one definitely not doing a harem ending, even very harem heavy series chicken out at the end by making MC choose one or no one (Till this day To Love Ru Darkness is the biggest joke example of this after making an entire sequel heavily focusing on harem making plan, tho that one is more like an axe than a true ending anyway).

The author doesn't know either for now, only irrating us by dropping the foreshadowing that it was either her family fleeing from debt collectors as mid option, or she has a severe/terminal illness. It smells of the latter tho, as FMC said not once about being unable to see her in the future, and now she switched into wingwoman mode just jike Mia from "Life with Mia", which done it for the same reason.

She was happy to see him at the police station and 30 minutes later she's like lets just ignore each other. Buddy got sick of her being wishy washy and set her off with the "its your fault" situation but she wouldn't even explain why she's angry 🤦🏽‍♂ Even childhood friend chick has the idea that she just disappeared one day... Why is it taking this long to ask why she disappeared or if theres some misunderstanding happening? It's always 'communication is key' until undisclosed trauma is involved, then its "i'll wait until they're comfortable enough to spill" which is fine I guess but damn its annoying.
