Full disclosure, what I know is sporadic at best, but I remember there used to be an anime where at the start, the MC is introduced to a 13(?) year old girl that claims to be his daughter from another time or world, and he has to take care of her now. What I most definitely remember is the reveal at the end, where there is a scene that shows he was most definitely teleported to another place as a kid/teenager and some things were implied. This anime had the feeling of light-heartedness and had no grit or grime. I have no idea why this memory is intruding after so long, but it's stuck in my head now, and I would like an answer, because google ain't giving me the results I'm looking for and MAL just has too much to sift through with so little to go on. And please google, for the love of god, there was no mention of taking care of isekai twins from elemental gods, the guy never actually died, stop telling me it's Journey Through Another World or Usagi Drop or Erased. This is just as bad as that memory worm of fragmented music I swear I heard somewhere.
