Yea, I read the LN a while ago, while it does mention they do it. It never gets any real graphic detail about anything. I guess the manga version is trying to get more readers by being a little more detailed.

Then again, its been a long time since I read the LN, I could be mistaken.

Regardless, it's touching what appears to be a recent-ish wound, not one that looks healed over. That's asking for re-opening the wound, or introducing an infection into a body part near her brain. Especially when the guy doing the touching was recently in some sewers, and before that was so ridiculously poisoned that he was a biohazard. Doing things that are likely to cause someone to bleed to death or otherwise be sent to the hospital are not sexy (I know there are people that think otherwise... But if this story thinks otherwise, it needs to add the Gore tag)

Don't worry, the slime girls were very thorough when cleaning him.
Also, it's not stated here, but they had his potions which are more effective than normal ones, so the infection risk was somewhat mitigated when her horns were cut (doesn't make it okay though).
