She's helping him not because she wants success, but because even if they fail, all of this is going to be an irreplaceable amount of first-hand experience that, combined with his talent and drive, is going to turn him into an A-Class producer.

She's saying that she's ok sacrificing herself for his future. That the point is his growth, not her success.
