Based on the last chapter this program was made in response to Kuro's request to quit. Either this is a ploy to get Kuro to realize he's the only one holding Nightmare together or to convince him that he is strong/a skilled leader. This seems to lean towards keeping Kuro in the Guild Federation so I think the latter would be a good story direction. The side conversation Kuro had with Seris already implies that Kuro is fairly strong unless dragons aren't that strong in this world.

possibly true but scarlet also has a very pronounced preference for beating up fat dudes and if im remembering correctly actually complains that someone wasnt as satisfying to punch because they werent fat or something
