Given how everyone thinks both of the childs forms are identical to ML, I'm going to assume its a time shenanigans copy of ML, and be the explanation why MC is the FL, that even if he isn't consciously aware of these memories, he feels safe beside her. While sure, it could be an actual brother of ML, I still think it actually being ML is more likely, and more so than it being our couples child (since everyone thinks its pure dragon)

its the son of ML brother who want to usurp the throne trough underhanded tactic, since he's weaker than ML
its later mentioned in the story that their bloodline have a lot of people who look just like ML, so its no wonder the nephew just looks like the ML

the reason why nobody looking for the son is, the brother sent the son just to cause chaos and usurp throne, he only doing this plan because the brother himself didnt expect his son just looks like ml
he also neglecting to taking care of the son since he only consider the son as a tool (fortunately, the mom is a good person, got coerced by the brother tough and she cant tell the child that she is his mom)
