Until we get the next chapter, I'm going to assume that what happened was that the perspective was messed up and that what we saw was actually Madoka jumping up into the air and crushing her mother under her heal rather than the other way around. Regarding evidence for this theory, please note the fattiness of the foot shown in the last panel. Adult feet also have different proportions.
Yes, you can see Madoka's head at the bottom there, but that's actually just the afterimage left before she did the backflip. You can tell because her hands aren't reaching up anymore, indicating that she is thinking about something other than crying. [Read: the backflip.]
