It certainly changes how I look at this series, knowing we are in a bubble period this moment with AI. That is well known, but bubbles can end in one of three ways:

• Pop
• Deflating (soft landing)
• Subsumed (growth of the rest of the economy absorbs the bubble, not happening in the U.S., the bubble is 99% of economic growth)

Either a pop or soft landing is estimated to start late 2026/early2027, when it becomes more apparent that AI investments aren't bearing fruit (like people rejecting IOS 26). The Magnificent Seven have other income sources than AI baloney, so a soft landing seems more likely.

I'm not sure I can agree. AI has easily made me 2-3x more performant and it's extremely easy to scale and extend to other people in my industry. It's why cursor just got a second round of over 2 billions
