Thanks for the comment! I don't really follow international scanlation groups (besides the Vietnamese ones), so I honestly don't know if the series was actually abandoned (so sorry about that (• ▽ • ).
I'd guess they probably haven't dropped it, maybe they're just busy with real life (like me, lol).
And just to clarify, I'm only translating some of the extra chapters I found on X/Pixiv that the English scanlation group hadn't covered yet. I'll probably do the same for the Volume 2 extras when I get my hands on them, if no one else has picked them up by then."

Little sis needs to understand that the media you consume doesn't always reflect what you want, hell it doesn't even always reflect your fantasies. If that was the case the entire Overlord fanbase should be getting side eyed for loving a series about the main character committing genocide and enslavement.

I understand and have always followed the 3-month “abandonment rule,” and I fully understand that @asphyxiav2 is currently busy with IRL matters. I want to make my intentions absolutely clear:

I never meant to replace or compete with @asphyxiav2 ’s translation. I simply don’t have the time to work on the main series, especially in another language, as I’m already quite occupied with my own IRL commitments.

I completely understand how it feels when someone seems to be stepping on your work or “snatching” a chapter. As I mentioned before, I only noticed that the Extra chapters hadn’t been translated by anyone, so I worked on them casually whenever I had a moment. I plan to do the same for Volume 2’s Extras if they remain untranslated by the time I get to them. I just wanted to share what I had with others who love the series.

I truly apologize for any confusion caused. If @asphyxiav2 intends to translate these Extra chapters and would prefer to replace my version with a higher-quality one, please feel free to contact me via email (listed on my profile) or Discord (shironokoe).
