I like this, but first chapters/one-shots aren't really a great indicator on how it's going to be chapter to chapter. I do hope this does well though. It'd be kinda cool to see him slowly become a badass and make her swoon even though shes never in any actual danger. I also like the fact that he genuinely likes her and rather than just doing it to keep the world safe

I wonder how this status quo even got set up in the first place. Did the anomaly show up and then transform into a sentient human girl? Was she a girl to begin with that is the anomaly? Was she a regular human that became the anomaly? I’m just having trouble imagining the circumstance that lead to this human-shaped girl falling in love with someone. It’s like imagining a category 5 hurricane fell in love with you.

Interesting premise though, I’ll see where it goes.

I have so many questions about just what is going on. How did Yutaka even achieve boyfriend status? From the first page, it seems like he was a hikikomori 6 years ago, and it's implied that he only recently met Aru... Also, why is Aru even this attached to Yutaka? What is the deal with the paper talismans, or the living dolls for that matter? Does magic exist in this world? And so on.

I'm not going to think too hard about it.

It's interesting, but I would've preferred if her nature was entirely a secret that we find out throughout the manga, like, have them just be regular teenagers, but with indications there might be something more going on with her to be developed throughout the manga.
