There was a series I read (and eventually dropped) that touched on it, as well; most only had the two ears on the top, but some had 4 ears (two animal, two human), and it was used as a sign they were half-breeds.

either both of them are gonna live with him permanently if not some deus ex machina bs. if not just "MC is not a world savior, but helping these two is enough" kinda thing, doing smaller good deeds and all (tho surprised it's not like the campfire cooking one where it's like "MC's meals give ppl a boost in speed/strength while battling")


I would hope other than subtle sneaky pics that ppl wouldn't take pics without asking (esp in jp where they don't have the shutter sound removed to stop perverts [but if anything i'd assume he'd not have her be a helper/server b/c the other existing girls might be jealous of someone being a coworker of Ray's XD])

Usually the way the hair style's done would cover the part where the 'human' ears would be but i wonder if anyone's done any 'bald' cat kin ;P (i wonder how they'd wear glasses if they need it versus those chains or 'legs' that go around the head like goggles)

Ya I was thinking that too. Explicitly stating the nekomimi has no ears on the sides of her head feels illegal.
