Seems Matsuo knew that only he and Rika knew about the debt. Matsuo mismanaged the loan money and doesn't have any to pay Rika back. He was worried the husband would discover the sizable loan sooner rather than later. So, he concocted a plan to extort his way out of paying it back; robbing the husband to pay the wife and hoping neither tell the other about the extortion or loan.

It would have worked, too, if the husband weren't Batman.

This PTA is absolutely wild.

I’m guessing as well in the final panel, the wife was hoping for the blackmail guy to succeed so she can continue cheating/making money without being discovered to have money?

From seeing some spoilers online, from what I gather there’s a group of people in the PTA who cheat with each other (most of them both husband and wife) and she makes a ton of money filming with one specific person (I’ve been spoiled on who this is).

However, only some are aware but others aren’t? I guess that makes sense.

And since I’m guessing the wife is pure evil, she didn’t bring MC into because she wants the benefits of being a SAHW while making money from porn/controlling the husband by sneaking behind his back.

I was confused why she didn’t bring him in on it if all the couples are cheating but that’s likely why, she knows he wouldn’t agree.

Where’d the other two cheaters on the balcony go lol?
