The author went to get some help some time ago and put her projects on hiatus, and once she came back she announced that she was no longer going to do NTR because the energy it was bringing into her life was affecting her negatively

And this is her current answer

That's the front story

The back story is that this used to be an NTR doujin, then it became a clean twitter manga, then the clean twitter manga got a serialization, but while being published she continued releasing the NTR chapters, so people assumed this was just another one of those goon bait manga that exist just to advertise the real version with the hentai on it

As a result, she had... a bit of a PR trouble trying to hassle her way into saying that the NTR version and the clean version where 2 separate universes, and that the NTR version was not canonical, but she was being cheeky and parts of the clean version keep echoing and doing callbacks to the NTR version, so people kept calling her out on it, however she was never really able to own her kinks and make a stance about it, despite being an NTR author she never proudly took ownership of her fetish

Eventually she decided to stop doing the NTR version all together, and just focus on the main one, time went by and she thought that she was in the clear, but the very last arc was also a callback to the NTR version, so her old skeletons went out of her closet, and people called her out on it again

So... she put the manga on hiatus, took a break, and once she came back, she said she is a changed woman, that the kind of stories she was making were putting her in a bad spot mentally and that she was going to stop delving into that

In short, girl made some poor business decisions, couldn't handle her own audience, and is now trying to make a clean break for the third time... forth time technically, i don't know how the Japanese audience is reacting to these developments, but i remember the reception to her no longer being an NTR author being quite positive over all

BTW i don't know if the author is actually a woman, but they present themselves online as one, so that's what i am going with

The serialisation is meant to be where the reflection shows, the backlash should've led to improvement. She's being a coward with this middle of the road approach. Ah well the art is most of why I'm reading just fire up the fanbox.
