i mean she did ruin her life. idk if anyone would commit a serious crime for revenge irl, but as far as these kinda fictional stories, anything goes, considering there's some revenge stories where she would've been straight up kidnapped and tortured sooner as opposed to something like the husband having his social/public life ruined/don't expect too much 'morality' in a darker josei story lol
