The problem is shes not "just ignoring it". Shes actively stringing the dude along because shes afraid of change while constantly trying to sabotage her friends because she wants to be the center of their attention. Just ignoring it would be slightly irritating, but what shes doing is disregarding everybody elses agency in favor of her own comfort and enjoyment, its a 5 year olds way of viewing the worldI don't understand the hate. Chita acts like most shounen protags that have someone of the opposite sex throwing themselves at them...they just ignore or don't acknowledge it. At least she's not doing the whole "I'm not worthy of affection." shtick.
I mean we still see Seto get a ton of hate from being adverse to physical romantic actions even though he is through and through an amazing boyfriend to Anjou. I think the problem specifically with Chita is we have her flaws, that she's incredibly childish and adverse to change which she has acknowledged herself but we haven't seen the other half of her that shows how she's a great friend to othersI don't understand the hate. Chita still being an awful piece of proto-lard
She's not stringing him along, she's been clear that he shouldn't be hung up on her. If he chooses to spend time with her, that's his choice. She shouldn't have to literally ban him from her presence. They've been in each other's lives for years. The problem is shes not "just ignoring it". It's self aware, at the very leastEven in-universe the internet doesn't want anything to do with Chita, it seems.
Can I get a translators note on that pls?Just like she's greedy with food, she will become greedy with Tokio.
All according to keikaku
This was an actual interesting development in the Chita part of the story. Tokio is super popular (with women) and she's never been pressed about it or forced to confront it.
