The ending was quite tame and wholesome compared with all the roller coaster of plot twists in between, thanks

Im pretty sure everyone but Machiko daughter is aware of everything, at least Haru didnt ended up like is father, and was even able to see his mother/sister-figure/mother of his daughter...
The family tree is weird, but at least everyone is somewhat happy.
MC dad (and his wife) was the cause of everything bad and his death brought a closure for everyone involved
Except Haru is doing the exact same thing his father is doing just not with his own daughter as he has some sense in him

I mean, unlike his father, he isn't in a couple (Machiko doesn't count, he clearly married her to protect her, they don't love each other like couple do) and he doesn't go for underage girl, so no Haru is clearly better than his father.

If you marry someone to protect them you clearly care for them. If he hadn't left I don't think Machiko would have been pawned off to his father by his mother or however just my thoughts

You can care for a friend, it's clear that they care for each other, but they arent in love. Heck, Haru literally told her that she could go look around herself.
Machiko wasn't pawned to anyone, the dad just put his hand on her when he saw he had the chance, Haru never had romantic feelings for her from start to finish, the only one who had the love interest role was Ayame, and no one else

Knowing his wife the fact she witnessed what happened with Ayame Machiko was hired as a minor and the same thing happened she was essentially groomed. And the situation did bug Haru to some level. Haru was even shock Machiko didnt look for other men not following Haru's mothers lifestyle

this ending wasnt that fullfiling...
I feel like everyything was laid out but nothing was completely understood. kinda meh.
Stuck with this because of hottest mother scene ever.
But still, having a magic penis dad was kinda of annoying during read.

I think Haru is the father of Ayane’s daughter, Sakura Aiba. Machiko and Haru were discussing it as well, and they found it suspicious, they also said Sakura might have also came here to find out about her father. And the fact that when she first saw Haru, she hugged him out of nowhere makes it even more convincing. So I’m sure of it. Do you guys think otherwise?

Main Theme: Japan's preference to choose silence before shame, (and also wincest)
You can see Japan's traditional way of dealing with these scandalous family issues, MC's father got his hands on a minor and his official wife only says: "he was that sort of man" and brushes it off, hiding the truth to avoid shame instead of seeking justice, he got his adoptive daughter pregnant and still gets to walk on and off of their lives without consequences, returns whenever he wants to her daughter (now mistress), later on he ditches her as soon as he finds a younger one and repeats until his body alows it.
The least they could do would be refusing him to return to the family's house/business, still returns and gets treated like the absolute king, MC grows admiring the father for being a "free spirit" and then from childhood normalizes adultery by constantly seeing her adoptive mother and father doing it with other people, unable to separate maternal love from first love, he decides to ran away but maintains the same set of values, almost as a rivalry with his father for taking his Mother (he didn't know) away.

MC's father lived his life without accountability (died from health issues due old age, author tends to draw the characters as young looking despite some being almost 60) and the same daughter/lover he discarded ran back to him and stayed by his side until the last breath, he manages to get her pregnant again before croaking (this part is still inconclusive, not sure if the new girl is MC or MC's father's daughter).

Wholesome indeed

It is mentioned that the timeline doesnt match of their fathers death and the birth of Sakura Aiba. So it is highly likely that Sakura Aiba is not MC's fathers child. I think the author is going for the scenario that both Haru and his father both impregnated the Ayane and Machiko before leaving. so both got pregnent at the same time. Still not sure since Sakura looks younger than the other dauthter though sakura said his father died before her birth so it cancels that fact that Ayane has another man in her life.

Yeah, that would be my guess as well.
