Is anybody else concerned about the anime so far? I feel like this one deserves better and I’m not usually a snob like that
Final episode released today, and while I understand how they were compelled to rush the story along up until the point where Cecilia and Youki are a couple to not leave an unsatisfying season end.. still was stupid with how wildly different many events of the plot were compared to the manga to the point where it felt unnecessary. Hate it when a direct animated adaptation majorly lacks consistency like that.
Hell, even a series like
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha where the manga and anime were two completely different adaptations of the same story felt
far more consistent with the plot.
As well as the animation that is very lackluster. I understand if not every series can have the luxury of top-notch animation for fight scenes—especially if the series is not primarily action-oriented anyways—though they still could've been bothered to have proper funding and workforce for at least a
little more quality like not having such stiff animation for every action scene or at the very least
some dynamic camera angles and not a flat-looking shot every single time.
Usually I'm not the one to bitch about animation and just be along for the ride and laugh about it.. but I still have a shitty taste in my mouth after my favorite series One Punch Man getting the J.C. Staff treatment once again—but somehow even
worse this time—in Season 3.
