So just to see if i get this right. Her little "charm" was suppose to remove him of suicidal thoughts yes? Amd it was also supposed to break itself after he recived enough love so that he no longer have suicidal thoughts. But since his luck with women is so ahh, it never went away and over time, though he never wanted to take a bath with a toaster, all those encounters chipped away at him, stripping him of his emotions since if he doesnt feel anything, he also wont feel pain and ending up kissing a running train. Which leads up to now. Yes? Right? Good.

So youre telling me the aunt, who is supposedly tight with him and sees him a lot, every other weekend iirc in previous chapters. But she was contemt with him staying like that, potentially for good? Really? Through all those years she just look at my guy withering his emotions away, she just gonna watch as he soulessly live his life, turning all his friends and family away? Has she never consider maybe getting a professional therapist involve, instead of straight up mentaly crippled the guy.

Maybe i have the wrong interpretation, but that doesn’t sounds good to me, like at all. Plus with how the female characters behave in this story and reading spoiler comments from previous chapters. I would expect the aunt to be some world destroying villainess.

You've got it right for the most part, with this only being a temporary thing and it wearing off when the mom and sister finally show their love to the MC. She only let it continue because people kept on hurting the MC.

The trade-off that MC's emotions fading away is much more okay to the Aunt than knowing that he WILL 100% off himself if the hypnotism/charm doesn't break peacefully. She still holds the hope of him finding peace with the people who hurt him, feeling that he is loved and eventually breaking the charm.

TLDR: "She hoped that the charm was tempory and will break peacefully, and would be okay with the trade off of no emotions rather than MC commiting sewer slide."
