As a man who doesn't read rom-coms at all, this one weirdly sticks with me. I found this series on YouTube and got hooked to it like the women who get hooked to Kanata (or like a fish, I guess). I suppose it was that I couldn't help but be so intrigued as to what was to happen next in the story, and see what other shenanigans would unravel. And after reading this chapter, I would be willing to watch the anime when it finally hits the media when it gets released, I think it's worth giving a chance. Overall, a pretty interesting story I'm willing to see through for what I can.
Also, side theory, what if Marika's Affection Level Purple (Edible) Slime is because of her possible unhealthy love for Kanata? I don't know, that's just my theory. As to why everyone's Affection Meters are different is probably based on the person, since everyone is different.
Anyway, that's all I really wanted to say, but keep up the great work. I'll be looking forward to the upcoming chapters. ☺

I picked this Manga hoping the writer would use this magic device to make something different but then I dropped it because it just seems to follow the conventions....this was months ago and reading from your comments it seems it has not improved. :/ .....

Probably gonna read the rest of it once is finished.
